A new rendition of old songs, Second Avenue was created based on the idea that sometimes you just don't see the full potential in a song early on. Sometimes, you need to let it ruminate a bit, let it stew...ya dig? I took a listen through the Blue Team's original First Avenue EP and got to thinking that there were parts that needed to be bigger and bolder...then there were parts that needed to be paired down a bit, taken in instead of letting out. Or maybe, they just didn't need to be fast all the time. This is a recreation of the First Avenue EP with the perspective of over a decade's worth of learning, not just music, but life itself.
